The Consortium Prime GAF AG from Germany is one of the leading European consulting firms in the field of geo-information offering a broad range of geo-information services and applications, ranging from geo-data procurement (satellite data, DEM, land use and land cover data), image processing and analysis, information processing and software development, to the provision of turn-key technical assistance projects and customized spatial land management and monitoring systems. GAF brings to the project its 30 years of experience in implementing development programmes with WB, KfW/GIZ, EDF, and European Commission.
In the EO4SD-Forest Management project, GAF is responsible for the overall management, the strategic developments and the delivery of information services.

CLS, a subsidiary of the French Space Agency CNES and of CNP. CLS is a worldwide company and pioneer provider of monitoring and surveillance solutions for the Earth since 1986. Its mission is to deploy innovative space-based solutions to understand and protect our planet, and to manage its resources sustainably. CLS employs 750 people, at its headquarters in Toulouse (France) and in its 26 other sites around the world.
 
In the EO4SD – Forest Management project, CLS will contribute to the Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Building Plan and the development of the EO4SD-Forest service cluster and more specifically on activities related to drivers for deforestation and degradation.

Wageningen University (WU) is a life sciences university, and it is considered one of the best in the world for a number of specializations. The Laboratory of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing is active in a number of international projects and specializes in fundamental and applied research and education concerning our living environment: nature, landscape, land use, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, water management, and various claims on space. In the EO4SD – Forest Management project, WU is responsible for developing technical solutions supporting reduced forest loss beyond REDD+, and on developing a Capacity Building Support Package. 

Hatfield is a privately-owned, multidisciplinary company providing consulting and applied research services in environmental, social, and geomatics sciences to public and private-sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, mining, forestry, and natural resource management sectors. Hatfield’s head office is located in Vancouver, Canada, with Hatfield’s extensive international activities supported by offices in Indonesia and Botswana. Hatfield is a trusted partner to government, private sector, and non-government clients on the appropriate development and use of remote sensing and geospatial technology for environmental monitoring and management. Hatfield provides scientific and strategic support in remote sensing to a range of national and international organizations including international finance institutions, United Nations, and numerous other development organizations. Hatfield’s geographic focus in the project is Southeast Asia and thematic focus is on community-based forestry and mangrove ecosystems.

The company provides world-class advisory services to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world in natural resources management, investment advisory, and strategic industrial development. Indufor has 40 years of experience in implementing forest projects globally with all the main IFIs, specifically related to Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) and Community based forest projects in Africa and Asia.
In the EO4SD – Forest Management project Indufor is supporting GAF in the strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and capacity development, and in the delivery and imact assessment of service clusters; particularly Integrated Landscape – Forest Landscape Restoration and Community-based Mapping for REDD+. 

Caribou Space is part of Caribou Digital, which focuses on delivering digital technologies to emerging markets – with people based in Europe, US and Africa. Caribou Space works with governments, space agencies, development agencies and space companies – to apply space technology to sustainable development. We provide large scale fund management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), strategic advisory and communications support.
In the EO4SD-Forest Management project Caribou Space will guide a publication of an impact evaluation for EO4SD-Forest Management, guide the communications activities to share the results and lessons of EO4SD-Forest Management publicly and do a strategic analysis of the existing landscape of forestry programmes to support the strategic plan/roadmap
